Hawaii Meets Colorado Mountain Wedding

REAL LIFE HAWAII WEDDING: KATHLEEN + NICK Nick and Kathleen's Hawaii meets Colorado mountain wedding is nothing short of perfection and amazing. The emotional ceremony was only followed by an emotional reception filled with family and Hawaiian traditions weaved throughout the day. Nick is a Hawaii native and Kathleen from Colorado. The two met while studying in college and fell in love. The leis were made by the father of the groom's girlfriend, Donna Pico. She is a florist in Hawaii and is truly phenomenal. She made most of the leis including all of the groomsmen, bridesmaids, and groom's maile lei. She also made the 40' ti leaf lei draped over the trellis. She used maile leaves and ti leaves as her primary means of making the leis. All of the greenery and some of the orchids and puakenikeni flowers were from plants from the grooms hometown of Waikane.
