The Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, announced the completion of construction of its newest function space, the Lani Kai Room. Literally translated as ‘heaven and ocean,’ the 3,600 square-foot banquet hall creates the idyllic setting for any event with its spectacular beachfront view.

Lani Kai can comfortably accommodate over 150 guests ‚Äì perfect for weddings and events with its sweeping views of Waikiki Beach and resort’s courtyard with its historic banyan tree. Attendees of Lani Kai who need a breath of fresh air have the opportunity to relax and re-energize on the open lanai ‚Äì a 500 square-foot area with front-row views of the blue Pacific Ocean.

Moana Surfrider’s excellent reputation for cuisine and tasty cocktails will carry through at Lani Kai, allowing guests to enjoy a variety of local and ethnic foods. Some of the many favorites include appetizers such as ahi poke, inari and maki sushi, main course items such as seafood potpourri in a basil snowflake sage sauce, chicken breast with tomato apricot chutney and sherry glaze, and mahi mahi with lemon basil caper beurre blanc, and dessert delights such as apple strudel with cinnamon custard, chocolate mousse in glass with open fruit tarts.
