Romantic Waikiki Wedding at The Akala Chapel

REAL LIFE HAWAII WEDDING: JANICE + RONNIE

Janice + Ronnie are a pair of high school sweethearts who tied the knot in early September. They started their day getting ready in the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Ronnie and his entourage had matching T-shirts replicating The Godfather movie title with The Groom and The Groomsmen. Janice also matched her entourage with hoodies sporting their names and Bride and Bridesmaid along the hood. Ronnie got in to his white and black detailed tuxedo and bowtie with help from their son and the rest of his groomsmen. Janice chose a full bouquet of blush pink roses accompanied by white rose bouquets for her entourage. She paired her long lace dress with strappy crystal studded heels and statement dangling earrings. She took in the beautiful view of Waikiki from the balcony of the hotel room looking absolutely stunning with a dramatic train and long cathedral veil. They had their ceremony in the Akala Chapel with gold vintage inspired florals lining the pews. They exchanged heartwarming personal vows bringing some laughter and some tears to the eyes of their loved ones across the room. After their ceremony they took some epic wedding party photos then snuck off for their first portraits as husband and wife. Their reception was lovely with chiavari chairs, light pink uplighting, and their names written beautifully in calligraphy over their elaborate flower lined head table. They had their first dance as well as a mother-son dance and a sweet and special dance together with their son and daughter. They enjoyed a Chinese lion dance for good luck and the room was always full of laughter thanks to the jokes of radio personality and their emcee Mele Apana. They ended by dancing the night away with confetti poppers shooting off to the beats of the music!
